Marketing Text By representing the project with a unique, distinctive and self-explanatory logo, which, given that FEIGHT’s ultimate beneficiary target audience is young school-age people, is appropriately based on ‘text-speak’ (F + eight = FEIGHT).
Description The logo’s design solves the problem of how to design a logo for a project with the complex abstract title ‘The 8 solutions for fighting early school leaving in VET’. By separating the two verbal elements of the FEIGHT acronym, which are the letter ‘F’ and the written number ‘eight’, we get F + eight = FEIGHT. We replace the written ‘eight’ with the number 8 to get F8, which is pronounced ‘Feight’. F8 then becomes the main element of the logo. We sit it on top of the FEIGHT acronym so that it is 100% clear how the F8 should be interpreted and spoken. Finally, using the same blended 4 colours throughout, we spell out the full title of the project, which can either sit directly below, and to the same measure (width), as the rest of the logo, or be enlarged to form a fly-out to the right of the main logo.
