This project is designed for German-Polish exchange of experience. It aims at strengthening the contribution of VET to the improvement of competitiveness and entrepreneurial spirit in economy of both partner countries, mainly through encouraging cooperation between training institutions and companies.
In a medium- and long-term range, the promotion of co-operation and the set-up of networks will:
 improve the quality of professional qualification and provide a better access to further education
 boost the European dimension of VET
 enable the VET sector to make a significant contribution to the innovation process
 improve the abilities and competences of young people in initial VET
At the same time for Polish partners European co-operation provides support to the implementation of the current reform of education.
The target group includes staff and VET-managers from public authorities and chambers, VET-instructors at operational level, representatives from companies and VET-teachers (particularly from commercial sector) from Poland and Germany.
Two groups (15 people each) of instructors and VET-managers execute one-work visits to partners in Warsaw. Both groups are focusing with their Polish colleagues on following key issues:
 development of new standards in VET
 adjustment of training contents to international competition
 development of new methods and tools for teaching and learning in VET, reflecting strengths an weaknesses of previous learning materials
 involvement of companies into the VET-process, improvement of practical orientation of VET
Project activities focus on the commercial sector (office management, finance management, trade etc.).
Expected outputs are as follows:
 contribution to the formation of the European dimension of education
 enhanced know-how of education managers and trainers involved in the project in Poland and Germany
 concept for bilateral standards in VET considering as example commercial sector
 design of sets of modern teaching and learning materials
 strategy for the enhancement of co-operation with companies in VET
