Marketing Text VM TEXTRANSF bereitgestellt, ein sehr nützliches Trainingsgerät konzentrierte sich auf Fachleute, die bereits die Textilbranche sowie im Einzelhandel /textile interessierten Menschen gearbeitet haben. Die Hauptvorteile des Tools sind:1) Innovation und qualitativ hochwertige Schulungsinhalte, basierend auf die großen und international anerkannte Erfahrung der TEKO im Bereich der visuellen Gestaltung und Merchandising; 2) die praktische Methodik, die ein wesentlicher Aspekt von einem Kolleg sein musste. Diese Methodik zu gewährleisten und die Bereitstellung von nutzbaren Inhalte und Fähigkeiten an die Endbegünstigten des Projekt-Produkts, die diese Kenntnisse in ihrer täglichen Arbeit und Inhalte anwenden konnten. 3) die Internationalität der Studiengänge, das erleichtert die Übertragung von Inhalten an die Einfuhrländern.
VM-TEXTRANSF project was born from the need
of 4 European regions (Galicia in Spain, Attica in Greece, Adana in Turkey, Lithuania) of high-skilled workers about retail visual marketing and,in particular, visual merchandising in the textile sector.Two of those regions (Galicia and Attica)are characterized by a traditional and relevant textile sector, that needs to move from a production-focused model to another one fostering distribution and commercialization. The other two regions (Adana and Lithuania) presented an increasing textile sector whose companies are starting to develop their brands and open their own shops, for that reason needed to improve their retail marketing strategies. Unfortunately, in all those regions there was a deficit of quality vocational training offer in the field of visual merchandising. The project aimed to answer to the above-mentioned needs, by transferring innovative training methodologies and contents about visual merchandising to European regions with reduced training offer in that field. For that reason, the consortium involved 4 organizations coming from 4 importing Countries (Spain, Greece, Lithuania and Turkey) and 1 coming from an exporting Country (Denmark).The consortium combined the relevant educational and training know-how of TEKO (exporting partner) in the field of visual design, with the representativity of the textile sector ensured by ATEXGA and LATIA and the experience of IDEC and ADANA USAM in training consultancy, e-learning and training offer for companies.
The final project outcome was a high-quality training product about visual merchandising adapted to the context of each importing Country and available in the language of each partner and in English through an e-learning tools. Thanks to the project, the following direct results were achieved: 1) increased professional skills about visual marketing in the textile sector of the above-mentioned regions; 2) contributed to spread a new professional profile in that regions (expert about visual merchandising for the textile sector); 3) increased the quality and accessibility of vocational trainig offer in the textile sector. At the same time, by improving professional skills, the project contributed to increase employability in the textile sector, helping in this way to reduce the effect produced by the economic crisis. The final beneficiaries of the project will be the workers of the textile sector involved in marketing and retail activities and unemployed persons with a previous experience in the textile sector, willing to reconvert their professional skills. Indirect beneficiaries were companies of the textile sectors, professional associations and public bodies interested about labour policies, that were involved in the project thanks to the dissemination and exploitation activities.
The project proposed a transfer innovation within the textil sector. Methodology and innovative contents about visual
merchandising already developed by TEKO were being transferred to ATEXGA, LATIA, IDEC and USAM ADANA.
From a geographical perspective, the innovation was being exported by Denmark and imported and adapted to the context of Spain, Greece, Lithuania and Turkey.
In order to adapt the training contents to the different Countries involved,the contents had been translated and adapted to the different Countries. At the same time, a web-based platform had been developed, that
collected and made available the training contents in the languages of all the Partners. That allowed the final project beneficiaries to follow the course in their own languages, ensuring the proper transfer of knowledge.
The transfer of innovation was also supported by the dissemination and exploitation of results. The project partners presented the training results among enterprise and training organizations related to the textile sector and to public organizations interested in the development of labour policies. By that way, the future implementation of the training
product by other organizations and its dissemination among the final beneficiaries was ensured.
The effectiveness of the Dissemination and Exploitation was ensured by the caracteristic of the project consortium.
Two of the Partners (P0 and P3) were enterprise associations of the textile sector. At the same time, the other Partners have strong relations with professional and enterprise associations of the sector. Finally, in Greece the Textile, Knitting, Clothing Industry Training Centre supported the project as silent partner.
The project aimed to answer to the needs identified by transferring innovative training methodologies and contents about visual merchandising to European regions with reduced training offer in that field (Galicia in Spain, Attica in Greece, Adana in Turkey, Lithuania).

The project was based on two innovative training courses in the field of visual design and merchandising developed and implemented by TEKO in its own Country. These courses gave to participants the necessary skills to improve and optimise the operation of a store as well as its design, and to develop and improve retail concepts. Participants were able to apply management tools for day-to-day store operations and to sketch, trim and decorate a store. Furthermore, were able to act in a local as well as in a regional, national and global
context. By a methodologically point of view, it is a hands-on course with numerous fact-finding visits to selected stores practical projects involving visual merchandising, trimming tasks as well as planning and preparing a guideline for a specific store.The project training product was based on two methodological approaches: 1) e-learning and virtual class system; 2)practical simulation of the work-situation. E-learning is mainly an electronic medium for distance or virtual learning, where the user can interact with teacher via Internet. It was a proposal whose implementation training referred predominantly via Internet, making use of services and
tools that technology provides. Within the distance learning, e-learning is one of the options that are currently most often
used to address the needs for vocational or professional training. Given their characteristics and technological support,
constitutes an alternative for those who combine work and training, it is not necessary to attend to a permanent classroom.
