Marketing Text Die SKILLS-UP-Projekt basiert auf den Ergebnissen der Projekt "Kompetenzen für den Arbeitsmarkt", bestehend aus einer Reihe von Ausbildungsinstrumente und Methoden für Trainerinnen/Lehrer basiert über 14 Soft-Skills/Schlüsselkompetenzen. Vor der Entwicklung der 14-Training-Tool-Kits, wurden umfangreiche Forschung getan Vermessung Tausende von KMU, Arbeitgeber und Schlüssel-Akteure in den Arbeitsmarkt. Die Training-Tool-Kits enthalten Material von methodischen Aspekte der Ausbildung und Lehre, Arbeitsbuch/Bewertungswerkzeuge. Jeder Lehrer/Trainer unterziehen diese Ausbildung kann somit zertifiziert werden, zur Schaffung und Gewährleistung der Qualität in der Zustellung. Die SKILLS-UP-Projekt fördert, zu Ausbildern in den Partnerländern, eine Auswahl von 2 der 14 Kompetenzen. Dies wird ihre Anstrengungen zur Verbesserung/Unterstützung der systemischen Veränderungen hin zu Kompetenz-basierte Systeme und damit zu entwerfen/liefern Ausbildung geeignet, gegründet Lernergebnisse zu stärken
This proposal is based on the result of a valid and acknowledged best practice “Competencies for the Labour Market” consisting in a bulk of training tools and devices which have succeeded in many different countries in teaching, developing, improving and evaluating a set of 14 basic soft skills & key competences. Moreover the number & typologies of the soft skills developed are the results of a concrete large scale survey carried on directly on thousands of SMEs employers, the key-actors of the labour market. The core of the best practice stands on the concept that SOFT SKILLS and KEY COMPETENCES are “difficult to measure & difficult to develop”. In order to cope with this, the BP developed complete training programmes for teachers/trainers for 14 soft skills & key competences identified, starting from the methodological aspects up to teaching/training techniques, devices & evaluation tools. The entire training of trainers has been then finalized to a certification and registration of certified trainers in a qualitatively guaranteed register. Therefore, under the selected priority, the proposal has been conceived in order to promote the geographical adaptation/transfer of the best practice, in order to:
- promote the acquisition of competences enabling VET professionals to teach soft skills & key competences (2006 EU Recommendation on K-competences for Lifelong learning);
- strengthen the response of VET professionals to systemic changes such as the shift to competence-based systems and consequently to learning outcomes.
This project reflects important effects either on direct beneficiaries, i.e. teachers/trainers & VET Professionals in general, either on indirect/final target groups: VET students & adult trainees or adults/unemployed in the labour market. The impact envisaged for the VET Systems of the 5 countries involved is concerned with the insertion of the best practice in the institutional activities of the VET structures involved in the project, and, with a multiplier effect, the further extension of the best practice at National level through certified trainers, as a medium-long term impact effect. The partnership (IT;CZ;BE;PT;EL), having consolidated mutual cooperation experiences in transnational projects, included the owner of the best practice, and all partners are directly involved in the VET systems development and in direct contact with the project target groups. The foreseen outcomes has been the production - for at least 2 competencies per country - of translated/adapted complete training toolkits including: training manuals, interactive DVD-video (for trainers and trainees); training and certification tools for competencies (for trainers); competencies level testing tools (for trainees); certified trainers. Attention has been paid on the analysis of evaluation tools and their possible use within the ECVET System, in order to produce criteria of commonly shared assignment of credit points in function of learning outcomes.
The SKILLS-UP project is based on the results of the project “Competencies for the Labour Market”, which consist of a set of training tools and methodologies concerning 14 basic soft skills and competences for trainers and teachers. Prior to developing the 14 training tool-kits, extensive research was done surveying thousands of SMEs, employers and key-actors in the labour market. The training tool-kits include material ranging from methodological aspects to training and teaching, to use of tools and assessment. Any teacher or trainer undergoing this training has been certified to use the training kits hence, establishing and guaranteeing quality in delivery. The SKILLS-UP project promoted, to VET trainers in the partner countries, a selection of 2 out of the 14 competences (as 2006 EU Recommendation on Key competences for Lifelong learning). Their training has strengthen their effort to enhance/support the systemic changes towards competence-based systems and consequently to design and deliver training suitable to established learning outcomes.
During the project’s duration, the 5 partner countries involved will test the training kits with their trainers and trainees and integrate them within their existing practices. The newly trained and certified trainers (will serve as multipliers) will train national trainers to deliver the selected soft skills training kits.In parallel the SKILLS-UP project will market and raise awareness of its activities through a dissemination campaign.

- Report of contexts and needs analysis in the partners countries, in order to derive the framework of application of education and trining in key-competences and soft skills in the partners countries and to match them with the requirements of entrepreneurial/productive/Labour Market systems
- Translated and adapted competences (At least 2 competences for each partner country, such as: Effective Communication; Entrepreneurship;
Problem-solving; Lifelong Learning; Pro-active approach; Stress Resilience; Flexibility; Customer Orientation;
- Create a first team of certified trainers in each partner country;
