Report on ECVET application in the context of
recognising in- and non-formal learning:
This report is a synopsis of all recognition of in-/non-formal learning related results of the projects initial research. It likewise
includes the concluded requirements on key education elements for ECVET application and collected examples of key education elements applied to ECVET requirements in a recognition of in-/non-formal learning context.
Partner in charge of this result is UOS (DE).
The overall aim of this report has been
- To help stakeholders to clarify key terms in context with ECVET, learning outcomes, recognition and validation, and PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition).
- To support stakeholders’ understanding of the topic by providing numerous examples on how to realise learning outcomes, ECVET and PLAR.
- To provide an overview of the current situation on PLAR in all project partner countries as well as in three additional countries (Canada, Norway, and Switzerland).
- To propose principles and mechanisms that support education and training providers and enterprises in the logistics sector in developing or improving PLAR structures and procedures.
