Product Report on Train-the-trainer exercise
Title Report on Train-the-trainer exercise
The objective of Train the trainer (WP5) was to prepare 15 trainers (5 per transfer receiving country) for their task to train new e-facilitators. These trainers have played a crucial role in achieving the project goals and have fulfilled the roles of content developers, trainers and evaluators at the same time. Therefore, these trainers have been named in the project as 1st tier trainers or “supertrainers”, and they have worked in a close collaboration with the project management and researchers team.
In order to prepare trainers for their role the following tasks have been set up by the project partnership:
• select and constitute team of trainers in all partner countries;
• install and maintain technical infrastructure for training (multi-lingual);
• prepare and carry out joint trainer workshop
• prepare and carry out online training of trainers, organise helpdesk
• Collect and implement experience and feedback for fine-tuning (incl. reporting).
All the tasks have been implemented successfully and 15 trainers (5 for DE, 5 for LV and 5 for PT) have been selected, trained in interactive training workshop in Barcelona and supported during the whole pre-pilot, pilot and post-pilot phases.
The results of the Product are described in details in Result No. 8- „Train the trainers work package” Report (see Annex 5.4).
This report consists of 5 chapters describing the realization of these tasks, as well as conclusions and annexes. The results and evaluation conclusions provided in the report are a direct input for WP6: Piloting.
