Marketing Text Training modules in HUMAN MOTION ANALYSIS were developed. For each module there are off-line courses (ppt presentations); lecture notes on theoretical issues; case studies.
For orthopedists – case studies including a section for patient relevant background (information which could include medical history, employment details or family circumstances) clinical signs, paraclinical evaluations, radiography images, an evaluation and self-assessment software. The system provides a feedback by showing trainees the correct diagnosis.
For engineers – in close relationship with clinical evaluations, a full bunch of modern investigation methods will give to orthopedists and biomedical engineers additional information for an accurate diagnostic. In this case, the biomedical engineers will fully be able to understand the usage and benefits of these methods and the medical meaning of all the computed or acquired data, otherwise in many cases looking abstract and somehow without relationship with the patient’s pathology. In the same manner, the orthopedist doctors will be able to understand the earnings of additional investigative data that can concur to a faster and more accurate diagnostic in the evident benefit of the patient. The package will include in addition to the previous clinical data of the patient, video analysis of the motion, contact pressure pattern of the patient for walking and balance data for various stances, and complex muscle and joint moments and forces data computed using specific software.
