Marketing Text Learning 2.0gether abordé les compétences améliorant l'employabilité besoins des jeunes, les chômeurs, et les compétences Web2.0 besoins des travailleurs âgés dans les PME et TPE de rapprocher les deux groupes dans un partenariat leur permettant de travailler ensemble et d'apprendre les uns des autres.
An ageing workforce across Europe; a global economic crisis; an EU labour market comprising of 99% SMEs; the highest need for digital literacy and the highest recorded levels of youth unemployment in Europe (46% ES; 33% IT; 22% UK).These conditions combine to form a crisis in provisions for lifelong learning and employment to young (16-25yrs) and old (50+yrs). Over the last 2 years, Learning 2.0gether has worked to meet these needs by providing relevant employability skills to support those entering (young unemployed) and remaining (50+ SME workers) in the labour market through mechanisms enabling the two groups to work together and learn from each other.
The main aim of Learning 2.0gether was to improve the chances for young unemployed people (with Web 2.0 skills) to gain employment and at the same time increase the lifelong learning and competencies of older SME workers. Learning 2.0gether provided both groups with a tailored training programme, increasing technological competencies in Web 2.0 (for older workers in SMES, focusing especially on microbusinesses <10 employees) and employability/soft skills competencies in young unemployed people.
An innovative 360 degree learning methodology has been transferred from the UK and adapted by partners in the UK, IT and ES. Using this methodology, a group of young Volunteer Tutors have been trained in soft skills (including training/tutoring skills) and hard skills (Web 2.0 modules), and have trained a further group of older SME workers in Web 2.0 skills via mixed delivery methods such as groups, one to one training and on-site delivery. A highly developed Web 2.0 skills package has also been transferred from DE to UK, IT and ES and adapted to meet the needs of older SME workers (focused on third sector, not for profits and general services SMEs). Volunteer Tutors participated in an iterative cycle of learning, practising training skills and reflecting throughout the training programme. Following the piloting in Learning 2.0gether, partners now have a full training programme available to support young unemployed and older SME workers to increase their knowledge and skills in Social Media and improve employability skills.
Learner packs have been produced, as well as a Training the Trainers guide for facilitators working with young people. To facilitate skill-sharing and skill-selling for sustainability, Learning 2.0gether has also developed an online Learning Hub containing e learning modules and a Skill-Share-Sell zone where SMEs can post requests related to Web 2.0 problems/general IT issues and young unemployed volunteers post their skills as a match.
Learning 2.0gether has brought together an experienced consortium of SMEs, a public agency in digital literacy, a volunteer organisation, Chamber of Commerce and SME representative associations in UK, DE, IT and ES. Important outcomes of increased confidence and wider support networks for both target groups have been achieved and target groups were actively involved in the development and dissemination of the project in order to ensure that the main products delivered meet the needs of learners in order to aid long-term impact and sustainability.
