In close co-operation of the consortium there was created a concept of the five variants of the learning platform on the basis of own research, but also taking into account the survey results in the primary target groups.
In connection with this was decided, which language skills should be selected and trained, on the other hand, it was decided that language and intercultural skills are to convey. Finally exercise types and forms were selected.
Description Objectives of the project are primarily: the development, but especially the systematization, modernization, testing, correction, valorization and sustainable distribution of modern, innovative learning materials, including those for language learning, tests and certification techniques (ECL) for the intercultural professional communication of foreign doctors and other medical staff in the countries of the consortium and in other European member states. The courses will enable the target audience to take better advantage of the possibilities of inner-European communication and of doing transnational work in the EU member states. Based on the consortium’s own research, requirements analyses, and actual teaching experience, the material developed in the transfer projects as well as other material already in existence in the partner countries, will be systematized, updated and applied, and integrated into a new, customized learning environment. Thus they will be turned into practical use for adult education, for vocational training, and for training within five complete blended learning courses. The main products are five modern, interconnected Web pages and teacher's guides in German, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Slovak, and Czech, with practical modules that provide complex exercises for medical communication, both online and offline.
