Professional and social experience acquired through informal and non-formal experiences can be academically validated by diplomas (certification) and socially recognized by the institutions of a society (qualification).
Building upon knowledge and experience of Scotland, France and other countries with established National Qualification Frameworks and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) processes and frameworks, the project contributed to the development of procedural, formal, legal and cultural foundations for the RPL process in Poland and Croatia, two countries that are initiating this process.
This project provides unique opportunity for coached transfer of an established process of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) into countries currently working on their NQFs.
The consortium selected for this project includes partners with complementary expertise and needs.
The project mainly aims:
1.To transfer knowledge and experience in implementation and exploitation of EQF/equivalent NQFs from countries with established frameworks to those initiating this process
2.To establish procedural, formal, legal, cultural foundations for implementation of RPL process
3.To elaborate guidelines and recommendations for policy makers and other stakeholders regarding implementation of RPL
