Description This product comprises upgrade and transfer of VQTS model into Public Health sector through assembly of Competence Matrix for the selected key areas in Public Health at European level.
Target group trainees & apprentices (medical practitioners, sociologists, economists, lawyers, psychologists, those with a degree in science, etc.), VET professionals, managers, employers, decision makers
- Translated VQTS model in BG and TR languages;
- VQTS model upgraded and transferred into new economic field - Public Health: an algorithm for creation of a matrix for description of work-related competencies in the key areas of Public Health established; exemplary matrices for key areas “Epidemiology”, “Environmental and Occupational Health”, “Biostatistics”, “Public Health Nutrition”, “Public Health Management and Policy”, and “Community Health Education” built; the concept of Learning Outcomes, represented by ‘knowledge’, ‘skills’ and ‘wider competencies’ elements introduced.
- Reports on the organization of Public Health education at national level presented by AT, BG and TR;
- Case studies for selected educational institutions (one per partner country): assembly of national specific competence matrices through definition of competence area, display of core activities, determination of the number of steps of competence development per work activity.
