Marketing Text The PNPV educational model aims to create a training method for the acquisition of knowledge and entrepreneurial skills, by promoting active collaboration between businesses, education and vocational training providers.
The PNPV training model was designed in order to activate a learning cycle where “the learner ‘touches all the bases’ - experiencing, reflecting, thinking, and acting - in a recursive process that is responsive to the learning situation and what is being learned” (Kolb, A., & Kolb, D. A. (2005).
The PNPV user's guide describes the new training model for the acquisition of knowledge and entrepreneurial skills, by promoting active collaboration between businesses, education and vocational training providers.
On the assumption that games and simulated environments make learning experiences more effective, the proposed training model combines:
• classroom activities centred on a serious game, focusing on the development of those soft skills that are essential for the formation of an "entrepreneurial mindset”
• online learning activities, allowing students to explore the business concepts presented during the classroom activities
Target group Students, trainers, teachers, mentors
Result The PNPV educational model is an attempt to foster entrepreneurial transversal skills through a blended approach based on a serious game; the model will be integrated into curricular activities and validated in an experimental phase to be carried out in several schools in Italy, Finland, Spain and Slovenia with a target of about 200 students aged between 17 and 20 years old
Area of application Will be use in the field of education and in particular in secondary and vocational schools.
