Marketing Text Job-Shadowing of a German qualified teacher at Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in order to compare theoretical and practical education of Occupational Therapists in Finland and Germany.
A German qualified teacher of the Vocational College for Occupational Therapists Günzburg staid 14 days at Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and got an insight in the Finish curriculum as well as in didactical and methodical aspects training the students of Occupational Therapy.
The participant learned how Finish Occupational Therapists (OT) uses their expert knowledge in daily work while she did job–shadowing in various hospitals providing rehabilitation.
The German teacher obtained learning experiences in the field of expert knowledge, foreign languages skills and teaching expertise and got familiar with the academic education of OT. This will be important in the near future, when the studies of Occupational Therapy will increase in Germany.
