Marketing Text If implemented properly, European Peer Review has the potential to become one of the main pillars of European VET quality policy in the next 5 to 10 years encompassing all relevant actors – VET providers, social partners and other stakeholders as well as the VET systems of the participating Member States". P.R.I.S.D.O.Q., by involving representatives from each relevant actors, as above mentioned, have developed strategies and procedures to concretely promote the adoption of Transnational Peer Review at European level.
The survey made in 2009 by the Thematic Group on Peer Review of ENQAVET, reflects a high demand from VET providers from at least 18 Member States to start transnational Peer Reviews by 2010. Meanwhile each Member State, by June 2011, must improve its Quality Assurance System, by concretly assuming and adopting tools, procedures and methods coherently with EQARF reccomendations. Transnational Peeer Review is considered one of the most tangible and useful tool to improve quality in VET. The project has primarly aimed at implementing transnational Peer Reviews at European level, by involving VET providers from Italy (Associazione FORMA.Azione srl), Germany (PerspektivWeschel), Turkey (Happy Kids), Social Partner from Lithuania (VET Trade Union) and Regional Body of Italian VET System (Regione Umbria). In addition, it intended to promote further exploitation of the results of the three previews Leonardo da Vinci projects on Peer Review, by using and testing the structure and process developed by the Thematic Group on Peer review of EQAVET. The Transfer of Innovation has been based on the European Peer Review Manual, the Tool Box and the "Proposal for a structure and process for transnational European Peer Review".
The main outcomes of the project are: check lists of SWOT analysis factors of Transnational Peer Review; best practice catalogue of information/dissemination and support actions developed by the project and Quality Assurance and Learning transversal measures adopted. The impact has been both at Regional/national and European level and it has included VET providers, social actors, policy makers, and other VET stakeholders
Experimentation of Transnational Peer Review by each partner.Sharing of weaknesses and strengths to set Transnational Peer review at European level. Building of the “Executive plan of sustainable management of European Transnational Peer Review”. Experimentation of the Plan in each partner’s country. Monitoring, evaluation and validation of the results.
The project started on November with the kick off meeting that took place in Perugia (Italy). There were present the all partners, the ICT expert that prepared the Moodle Platform of the project, the representative of the External Evaluator and Expert in ISO 9001:2008 for VET providers, DNV Italia srl and Giorgio Allulli as Peer Review Expert and Coordinator of Quality Assurance Reference National Point of Italy.The meeting has been focused on the details of the workpackages and the next steps of the project.

The first product was the “Check list to point out advantages and disadvantages in using Peer Review” (with reference to SWOT analysis), applicable to VET providers at Transnational level. Then it has been produced a banner of P.R.I.S.D.O.Q. to be used during seminars, conferences and general presentation; two reports about the Experimentation of Transnational Peer Review and Final Report about Transnational Peer Review Experimentation:Checklist & Focus Groups with relevant stakeholders.
It has also been created the project website, a leaflet to disseminate information about Peer Review. By the end of the project, all the products expected to be developed, had been completed.
