Evaluation was integral to the project methodology and embedding during the life of the project, building on the strong link of such activities to the sustainability of project outcomes.
To ensure overall quality, E.R.M.E.S. project had a dedicated WP to explicitly handle quality assurance. In principle, via this WP, a Quality Plan has been set-up for use during the project implementation. The Quality Plan encompasses a comprehensive set of documents summarizing inputs/outputs that will be expected from each Partner and presenting feedback modules to be used for implementing the monitoring and evaluation.

Result The evaluation was both “process-oriented” and “product-oriented”. This means it concerned the co-operation between partners (Workpackages, meetings, reporting, describing the chain of activities and processes and the choices made, integration of the different products and what was learned) as well as the transnational experiences & outcomes, proving/showing the added value of a partnership. In this perspective, the evaluation covered the quality of the envisaged project processes and products from both an internal and external point of view but did not take into account economic/financial aspects, specifically considered in Work Package 1: Project Management.
