Marketing Text The AGRICOM Competence Model (ACM) describes the competences required to perform effectively in particular roles. The ACM enables one set of standards to be applied across the full range of human resource processes and provides a common language and understanding as well as consistency when assessing individual performance whether for the purpose of selection, development or performance management.
Description As the one of the main outcomes of the AGRICOM project this deliverable will be used to standardise definition of existing and needed competences, clear description of working places and job profiles, gap analysis of target and actual state of competences, preparation and providing training solutions.

Main goal of the project AGRICOM is the transfer and population of the WACOM Water Competence Model (WCM) for Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) from the Water Sector to the Agricultural Sector.
The first version of the AGRICOM Competence Modell (ACM) has been delivered after the first project year. The ACM is the main outcome of the project and provides all by now elaborated competences for the agricultural sector, templates for competence descriptions, job profiles and competence profiles, and use examples of a single competences or job profiles and trainings opportunities.
In the second year the focus will be on pilot testing and optimization, dissemination and exploitation of all project results.
The intensive and comprehensive pilot-testing during six months and in four countries ensures a long period of evaluation, validation, and optimization of the AGRICOM Competence Model and further outcomes as well as many implementations and applications throughout Europe.
the ACM will be discussed, evaluated and improved by publication and dissemination within the agricultural communities of professional training, and the agricultural business communities. Summaries of research and usage results will be presented regularly in conferences aimed at the Competence Modeling and Vocational Education and Training in agricultural jobs as well as in conferences related with the introduction of ICT in Agriculture.

It will improve the transparency, competitiveness, and mobility both for the citizens as well as for the enterprises towards a better European VET and society.
