Marketing Text The AGRICOM web site constitutes the main dissemination mean for the results of the AGRICOM project and its benefits and achievements of the project be known to potential stakeholders. It consists of up-to-date web technologies in combination with a friendly graphical interface for users.
Description Design, development and online launch of the AGRICOM website for the broadest dissemination and exploitation of competence development and the AGRICOM instrument (the AGRICOM Competences Model) in the agricultural sector throughout whole Europe.
The website serves as a nexus of information for those interested in the AGRICOM project and its progress or contacting its members.
The primary stakeholders are individuals and entities involved in the running and setting up commercial hydroponic greenhouse.
Operations and/or irrigation solutions in commercial agriculture/horticulture.
a) horti-/agriculture operation owners/managers (producers and growers)
b) mid-level managers in larger agri/horticulture enterprises (i.e. responsible for an entire production unit)
c) private contractors providing solutions/services/hardware/software/expertise for such operations/operators to the extent their work extends into the production unit and requires an understanding of the work processes of the unit.
Competences related to the design, manufacture and programming of the equipment will not be within the scope of the AGRICOM competences.
d) All entities involved in vocational education (formal or informal, school or workplace learning aiming at a qualification) and/or training (courses for specific skills/competences) for the above professionals
• horti-/agriculture VET providers
• engineering VET providers (e.g. water engineering, software)
• producer organisations (e.g. farmers’ association) organising training courses
• companies organising in-house training
The process should be informed by the views of secondary stakeholders:
• -Future professionals (i.e. students in above described VET)
And Tertiary stakeholders:
• -Relevant public and private entities involved with water and environment protection of the, food and agriculture policy and other related policy areas.
Result The AGRICOM website, available in 5 languages (DE, EN, GR, NL, IT).
Area of application Principle uses include detailing the project, its outcomes, its constituent partners, news and events (e.g. press releases, workshops, newsletters, useful links) as well as possibilites for contact with the project consortium.
