CLIPMA elearning tool is based on Moodle, a well known and easy-to-use, open source, online learning management system. For course participants there were networking facilities (forums, messaging by email, tutorium) and different areas where course materials were provided - e.g. texts, scientific docs, movies etc.
Networking was possible among the participants and with the lecturers and the course organizers (forums - both general ones and special forums for each course).
As an important part of the CLIPMA-Moodle there were at least 3 quizzes in every national course - one for each 2-day course module. The quizzes were set up by the national managers and contained different question types (e.g. multiple choice, matching, true/false etc), individual grades and evaluations for reporting.
For establishing the national courses in their respective language translation facilities were implemented to raise the usability for participants and lecturers.
The CLIPMA-Moodle-elearning tool offered various functions which could be managed by the course lecturers as well as by the national managers.
Each course manager had the ability to enrol users to his/her course manually or by providing a csv-list to akaryon to include the participants in in one step. Manuals were provided in two different versions - one for the course participants and one for the national course managers. Within one consortium meeting a training for all national managers took place.
To guarantee independent handling of the E-learning tool after project end User Manuals have been developed for trainers as well as for participants.
Target group Course participants, lecturers and course organisers in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Slovakia
The e-learning tool represented an interactive platform providing elearning tasks and quizzes and the possibility of active interchange between the participants through discussions or exchange of experiences. E-Learning platform was supported by a tutor answering upcoming questions to the tasks, quizzes or course organisation in general.
