The Austrian climate protection manager course was successfully transferred to Hungary.
The first module focused on the following topics: „Agriculture, local and organic food, soil protection” and „Project development and implementation in municipalities”.
The focus of the second module was the professional background of climate protection on global and national level. Furthermore: How can a village live without polluting the environment? Topics of the third module were soft mobility and regional land use planning.
The whole training course in Hungary was implemented and delivered during May and June 2012(three times two-day training), first training module in Pannonhalma (8-9 May, 2012), second training module in Gömörszőlős (29-30 May, 2012), the third training module in Felsőörs (25-26 June, 2012)
17 participants completed all 3 modules.
Target group The target groups of this training courses were people responsible for defining climate protection objectives, for developing the respective measures and implementing them in and together with their municipalities, i.e.: local decision-makers, municipal staff and decision makers in districts and municipalities, representatives on local and regional level, people who are interested in sustainability and active citizenship.
