Title Global SRS
Project Number 2011-SE1-LEO05-08382
Project Type Innovationstransfer
In this TOI-project, we have had the possibility to test and further develop the very interesting technology platform for the use of SRS in the learning environment, developed by HiST, Högskolen I Sör-Trondelag, Trondheim, Norway. As in every LdV – project, stake holders and policy makers have been included in the process, by participating in training situations and piloting activities as well as being informed by the partners in Sweden, Norway, Portugal and Romania during 2012 and 2013 on a wide variety of occasions.
During the first year of the project the product and methodology was initially tested in all the target countries, and also well disseminated through local, regional and national channels, as well as in different European channels. During the second year, Piloting tests was carried out in all target countries. The welcoming of the concept has been very good!
The project was closed by a final conference in Tirgu Mures, Romania, in connection to the larger conference “Interdiciplinarity in Engineering” arrange by our Romanian partner, “Petru Maior” University of Tirgu Mures, in October 2013.
It’s not unknown to anyone active in the field of education and training, that a large part of the students are locked in the shadow of the most visible ones. As project partners, we have all looked at various ways to get hold of these, silence, students. To know the actual level of participation and knowledge development. Student response systems at large is a known and successful technique to enhance the level of participation of all students in the study group, thus, through dialogue, making it possible for the teacher/trainer to adjust and develop the execution of the education- or training situation as it comes.
Through earlier acquaintances with the system for SRS developed by HiST, Trondhiem, Norway, we could see a real possibility to develop our ways to deliver education and training with a vast increase in actual learning taking place among a larger population of the students/learners.
The transfer process have been rolling out well in the project. Descriptions, methodology and guidelines/ manuals are developed, transfer sessions have been held, and dissemination have been done in a large scale. Piloting activities was carried out during spring 2013, where the products was further tested, and input for further development was possible. Also the work on guidelines for recognition towards EQF and ECVET was created.

Product information Product of transfer is essentially the system for SRS built on modern mobile technology (using Smartphones, PC, MAC and Pad), reducing the need for large investments in order to enable the use of SRS methodology in the learning situation. During the transfer of technology, the project also has promoted and developed knowledge and skill in the use of SRS methodology through training sessions and piloting activities.
