Marketing Text New training material has been developed based on the "older" version of the former AGORA I project. The training material was created for all possible training areas for retailers.
The training materials which have been designed are:
Module for Managers:
Mod I: Supervisory Soft Skills: to acquire knowledge and skills facilitating their professional performance in the role of retail manager or shop owner.
Mod II: Operations – Retail Management I: to find and lead business on a basic level in the retail industries. This module provides steps for the earliest phase in founding a grocery or convenience store and sensitizes the manager in basic analytical skills, to estimate the market potential of a community and find the best located place for a store, being able to estimate the optimal range of commodities and the necessary equipment.
Mod III: Operations: Account Management II: to acquire and refine skills in operations and accounting management. Module for Managers--> Mod IV: Store Management: to practice an excellent customer service, to fulfill the legal requirements, to prepare vendors to be more efficient and competitive and to control the supply chain.
Mod V: Workplace Computer Skills: to improve their ICT skills which are necessary for them to be successful in business life and moreover they will be able to increase their competition strengths in the retail sector.
Modules for Workers:
Mod I: Some Labour Market Basic Concepts: introduces a few basic concepts in grocery retailing and principles of retailing.
Mod II: Soft Skills in the Workplace / Customer Service: to acquire and refine the work-place soft skills and behaviors necessary for successful career development.
Mod III: Retail Operations: addressed to future salespeople and cashiers willing to get integrated into the retail commerce sector, particularly in the food markets and shops.
Mod IV: Workplace Basic Skills: to acquire and refine the work-place basic skills and behaviors necessary for successful customer service in small groceries.
Modules for Job Seekers:
Mod VIII: Job Opportunities & Job Search Activities: to acquire and refine the job searching skills necessary for being successful in getting a job in retail sector.
