teacher training model aimed at bolstering
teacher confidence by adopting more innovative and entrepreneurial behaviour through a
personalised and self-guided process that builds on elements already present in their
teaching. The model acts as a vehicle to improve the ability of educators to develop an
entrepreneurial culture amongst students and for enterprise and entrepreneurial activity to
be embedded into the curriculum at all levels and across all specialisms.
Target group EU teachers. The model considers teachers as “change agents in the classroom” that place problems and questions in real world contexts, take risks and engage in trial-and-error problem solving (NESTA, 2013). This process should build upon the personal experience of the participants.
