The PRO::ICT career path tool is a self assessment tool (web based questionnaire) which matches young women with their ideal ICT job profile. Based on the results of the questionnaire the user is matched with ICT job types that she/he is best and least suited to, according to the defined basic personality type. It is designed for women and young girls in the age from 12 to 20 and gives an overview about different job types

The training objective is to provide guidance and also to encourage girls to think about ICT jobs, and to help match users to the IT market.
The tool is particularly useful for providing information about job profiles. The questions have been styled to encourage both genders to use the tool and to answer the questions. The user is asked a series of questions and then she/he get the information which of the 5 basic types she/he belong to.
The types relate to Hollandï¿½s theory relating to career development. After that the users can match themselves to jobs from these types.
Users can also click on links to the Prospects Graduate website in the UK for more information on jobs, such as Career Development advice.
The time taken to complete the test from beginning to end is approximately half an hour.
If the users browse through the different categories and print the summaries for each type, they can spend much more time with the ICT Career Path Tool.
