Marketing Text The Creative ECVET project will enable students in VET to be mobile during thei study period. When they go abroad to a school that is part of CREATIVE ECVET system, the EGIN system, they will have the possibility to get an accredited study. Arrangements between the schools, make it easy to have students follow special units of mobility: units that have been agreed by the schools have valuable and transparant learniing outcomes, that are recognised by all schools using the EGIN system.
The reason for the Creative ECVET Project is twofold.
1. It will provide an answer for the mobility issue in VET education in the Graphic-Media and creative industry. The project will use an innovative method and creative way to reach the aim of mobility of VET students and increasing the attractiveness of VET education. The project focuses on the analyses of the official documents used in VET education: Professional Profiles related national Qualifications (diploma's) and national Occupations.
2. The project will use the output of the VET main stream of the project, the EGIN format, to develop an EGIN assessment tool. This tool will enable organisations to assess the level of students and workers from other counties in order to enter education or the labour market of a specific country at the adequate level.
The consortium exists of the perfect partners for these two streams: VET schools combined with social partners and research/consultancy companies.
The project will research the official documents participating countries use to validate VET. Professional Profiles, job descriptions, vocational qualifications/diplomas and also functions/jobs/occupations that belong to the set of qualifications per country.
A systematic map will be produced on the basis op sets of learning outcomes, that belong to the official profiles per country, the qualifications/diplomas/certificates that belong to these learning outcomes and the occupations that belong to these qualifications. In this grid it will be clear what the differences and similarities are between the countries.
Based on the outcomes of mapping the educational contents, the project will attempt to develop assessment tools for labor market and education.
