Marketing Text This project has successfully developed an e-learning course for Managers of Volunteers which is based around the UK accredited ILM qualification. The project materials have been tested via four pilot programmes in Spain, Italy, Lithuania and Poland in the early part of 2013.
Summary The online course was developed through consultation with the partners to ensure that the content successfully met the learning needs of volunteer managers in each of the partner countries and could be used more widely across Europe in future.
In delivering the project, five project meetings took place, two hosted by the lead partner in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK), one hosted by Partner 3 in Siauliai (Lithuania), Partner 4 in Turin (Italy), and Partner 2 in Bilbao (Spain) plus a materials development and trainer update meeting (UK). The meetings were attended by all partners and the planning phase before each meeting ensured that all present were able to fully contribute and actively participate in the meetings.
A final conference hosted by Partner 2 was held in September 2013 in Bilbao Spain to show the success of the project and to highlight volunteers and volunteer management.
