Title Descriptive Report on Qualifications
This Report, carried out under WP 3 Analysis and Design, provides information on qualifications.
The first part describes the technical process carried out with the active contribution of the partnership.
The qualifications are analysed with two focuses on the Health Care and construction sectors. The functioning of any credit systems, the methods for evaluating formal learning and any opportunities for recognizing non-formal and informal learning are described.
This Report, carried out under WP 3 Analysis and Design, is the outcome of a work of analysis and synthesis based on the Qualifications grid (tool) submitted to national and European partners to provide information on qualifications.
The Report is broken down into a first part which describes the technical process carried out between March 2011 and February 2012
with the active contribution of the partnership (Chapter 1).
The qualifications are then analysed (Chapter 2), with an initial overview relative to typologies, access criteria and levels
of the qualifications (Paragraph 2.1), followed by two focuses, one for each sector
(Paragraph 2.2 Health Care sector and 2.3 Construction sector). The focuses identify any partial qualifications associated with “complete” qualifications, the units of each qualification and the duration of the formal pathways associated with the qualifications.
Paragraph 2.4 then contains further issues studied and specifically the functioning of any credit systems, the methods for evaluating formal learning and any opportunities for recognizing non-formal and informal learning.
Paragraph 2.5 contains the key issues regarding the ECVET implementation process, which are the coherence with the LO approach and the structuring of the units.
Finally, Chaper 3, outlines some final remarks for the development of the next work stage (WP 4)
