"Remus Răduleţ" Vocational College is a public institution, a vocational secondary school (initial and higher vocational training) which prepares students in the fields of ITC, Electricity, Electronics, Mecatronics and Automation. This project is part of the 10–years-tradition activity of conducting IVT mobility projects.
The necessity of this project came from the professional and personal needs of the students of "Remus Radulet" Vocational College and from the requirements of the labour market at communitarian level. The project, realised in ECVET terms, contributed to enhance the attractiveness of vocational education / training and mobility for students, improved the transparency and recognition of qualifications and competences, including those acquired through non-formal and informal learning. The efficient dissemination and marketing done at the local and regional level increased the brand of the organisation in the community.
The participants were 11 students from the direct route XI-th grade and progressive route XII-th grade, both electronist technician profiles, from Remus Radulet Vocational College, aiming for level 3 of electronist technician qualification in agreement with the professional standard SPP Annex nr. 1 at OMEdC nr. 3171 from 30.01.2006 referring to automation technicians and electronist technicians. The programme was accomplished in the terms ECVET, of the curriculum for the 11th grade, direct route and 12th grade, progressive route, electronist technician qualification; Module IX – Module for practical vocational training: Electronic circuits (90 hours) .
The main project objective aimed the acquisition of new competences and practical skills in carrying out electric and electronic circuits in order to improve the transition from the IVT training environment to the labour market. Acquiring new linguistic and communication competences has been another important objective, as well as the development of ITC competences, teamwork and other social skills.
The vocational training program was planned for three weeks and within this the participants carried out practical activities that led to the complete fulfillment of the objectives akin to the vocational training of the mobility project. By participating in the mobility, the participants developed new knowledge, new skills as well new competences during the three weeks. The activities, that had been carried out, placed the participants in real work situations and were based on active pedagogical methods
Another strong point of the project is the sustainability. By continuing the partnership between both of the institutions through the approval of the two projects submitted under the call 2010 the development of the European dimension will be ensured and exchange of best practices will be accomplished in the field of VET.
All these are contributing to the increase of visibility and opening towards internationality of Remus Radulet Vocational College.
