Marketing Text This is a document that analyses and compares the curricula in form of end competences and other characteristic of the chef's education program in the 8 partner countries. The results are presented in two tables: a comprehensive one and a more overall version.
Description The document compares curricula for the chef's education in Denmark, Netherlands, Estonia, Italy, Hungary, Turkey, United Kingdom and Finland. In the most detailed comparison table it looks at 15 different characteristics: Qualification awarded; Curriculum content; Competences; Duration; Minimum entry age; Average class size; Delivery of VET - college based; Delivery of VET - industry based; Pedagogy; Assessment; Credit framework; Role of employer; Curriculum regulatory body; Funding; and Quality Assurance.
Target group Education planners from local to national level, VET college staff and management, industry representatives, politicians and other stakeholders.
Result The curriculum comparison is uploaded in form of a Word-document on this website.
Area of application The document may be used in the attempt to compare chef's education programs across national borders and in the attempt to develop and introduce ECVET in the EU.
