Marketing Text Create an effective learning tool (e-learning courses) which will provide to the participants the necessary up-to-date knowledge from the field of the medical technology.
Summary The project is a reaction to the insufficient situation regarding vocational education and training in the medical technology branch. Education in the field of medical technology is very specific as it connects expert knowledge from two different branches: medical field and technology. The offer of the education from this field is not only very unsatisfactory but also quite unsystematic and unstandardized. The education in national languages is quite missing in this branch and also the form of the education is insufficient.
The goal of the project is to create an effective learning tool (e-learning courses) which will provide to the participants the necessary up-to-date knowledge from the field of the medical technology.
The new courses will be based on the results of the English e-learning courses in medical equipment from the previous project. The scale and the content of the courses will be adjusted to the targeted countries and participants (employees of hospitals), including translation into participants mothertongue. The courses will be transfered in the partner countries.
The aim of the project is to develop vocational skills which are in demand on the labour market in the medical technology branch. Analysis showed that the range of the available trainings in the field of medical technology is insufficient and very often not up to date due to the fact, that this sector is experiencing fast development.
Within the project an analysis was undertaken in the partner countries to prove the feasibility of transfer of the e-learning courses to other sector and target group – medical/hospital sector. Based on the results of the analysis the innovative content of the previous 6 courses will be selected to meet the requirements of the target group and 3 new topics will be identified for the new courses. The content of the 9 courses will be adapted to the target group, tested on a pilot group and then transferred to the new target countries (France, Germany and Spain).
