This package was delivered for medical doctors and consists of interactive US courses included into e-EDUMED e-learning platform. The package was divided into subsequent 3 modules and is available in EN, RO, BG. For this package we provided the curriculum/syllabus, schedule of courses and educational materials (WWW-based).
It offers up to date and accessible training for medical doctors by implementation of e-learning methods in ultrasound medical education, enhancing the attractiveness of training by providing the target group with new ways of gaining knowledge (interactive multimedia presentations, virtual clasrooms).
Includes 3 training modules included into the e-learning platform.

The learning path included:
• asynchronous online courses - educational materials in a traditional style of presentation. Selected approach is based on a modular architecture focused on three levels (power point presentation, level text, image level. For the 3 modules we developed 26 topics/courses. For each course PPT and course notes in anatomy and ultrasound(text and images), questions and tests associated with each section were developed. 6 multimedia lessons that include sections with commented video images were created.
Content is structured in the best way to build gradual competences.
The total material developed:
Anatomy text- 161 pages, US text -471 pages,PPT- slides 650, Quizzes- 150. Virtual classes-6 , Multimedia lessons-6, size 1GB
● synchronous online courses - courses implemented in the virtual class e EDUMED. Virtual classroom allows a tutor via the Internet to bring together a group of students in real time. The teacher can present materials (case studies, moving images, making complete ultrasound) and can receive information and feedback from students. PowerPoint presentations are also available. Schedule and topics courses were nnounced in advance and students can enroll. Teaching methodology used-PBL - Problem Based Learning
8 virtual classes were kept, according to a schedule. The recorded virtual classes are available on the platform.
● questionnaires for self-evaluation skills - developed for helping students to assess their knowledge, identify their strengths and weaknesses and act accordingly.
The methodology included:
Group discussions and ultrasound case analyses
Quizzes & examinations
Ultrasound laboratory live (virtual classrooms) & video demonstrations (multimedia lessons)
students study based on text and Power Point presentations
Students’ self study trainings based on the refferences provided.
