Marketing Text Slow learning and socially disadvantaged apprentices get the chance by the handling of a customer order at a European partner institution to apply their knowledge and skills and to enhance their individual competence profile. Simultaneously the project addresses the national priority ECVET.
Summary The participants of the project are slow learning our socially disadvantaged apprentices in the occupation field of painters and varnishers who are completing external vocational training in the applicant institution. They only have a chance in the labour market if they are employable after the completion of their vocational education and training (VET). This can only be achieved if the educational institution can create a motivating and activating learning environment. Therefore the educational institution has to, by the help of extraordinary initiatives, arouse the learners’ willingness to contribute to the successful completion of their VET. Mobility project are such an initiative, what has been proved repeatedly during the last years. A special element of the project is that the receiving institution acts as a client and places a customer order (oriented at the training master plan) for the group of learners. Thus the preparation, accomplishment and wrap-up of the project become an integrated part of the training. By carrying out part of the training abroad it is possible to apply approaches of VET in transnational networks. The handling of a customer order at a European partner gives the participants the possibility to apply their knowledge and skills. Such a learning environment also makes it possible for them to enhance their individual competence profile. Out of this arises the possibility to address the national priority ECVET within this project.
