Title Transfer of ECVET experiences into the work practice of educational institutions for creative professions (floristy, painters and varnishers) - ECVET Kreativ
Project Number 2010-1-DE2-LEO04-04751-1
Project Type Partnerships
Marketing Text The SBG, together with project partners from three European countries, set the goal to utilise present experiences with ECVET for the creative branches of floristry and painters and varnishers.
Summary In Summer 2008 the DG Education and Culture called for proposals of projects dealing with the development and testing of ECVET. Simultaneously national initiatives are existing, like for example DECVET in Germany. Thereby the European vocational education and training (VET) institutions are being called to deal more thoroughly with the credit point system ECVET. The coordinator has already been partner within a German DECVET project as well as within the project CREDCHEM, funded by the DG Education and Culture. It aims at utilising the experiences gained in the chemical sector together with European partners for the creative professions of floristry and painters and varnishers. The project partnership is aiming at connecting the extension of transnational cooperation with an active dealing with ECVET. For the professions of the target branches units of learning results will be defined and learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences) described. Out of this will be deduced an approach for a transnational cooperation (to be tested later in the framework of mobilities).
The transnational cooperation between the partners will be promoted by the following spheres of activity:
- establishment of a communication platform for teaching personnel (results from the project 2008-1-DE2-LEO04-00092 1 will be seized and developed further)
- agreement on possibilities of a conceptional establishment of transnational cooperation
- trial of feasibility of web 2.0 based transnational project learning according to the pilot project 2003-D/03/B/F/PP 146 045
- cooperation with professional associations (silent partners within the project)
