Marketing Text By innovative agribusiness VET program in a hop industry(NPK Hmeljar/hmeljarka) project does pursue the European guidelines for innovation transfer. Partners from Slovenia, France and Czech Republic cooperate in the project to encourage the inter-professional, inter-cultural and inter-linguistic cooperation and exchange.
Summary The aim of the project “LdV Hop school” is to improve the quality and attractiveness of the European VET system by integrating an existing VET agribusiness system in France into Slovenian VET program. The Hop industry lifelong learning program - LdV Hop school objectives are: (i) to analyse the existing EU hop industry (production, organisation, marketing), (ii) to concept a formal VET program with a National Vocational Qualification for a hop industry in Slovenia (NPK Hmeljar/hmeljarka) - transferred partially from the existing VET program in France, (iii) to draft VET program contents for program in hop industry (NPK Hmeljar/hmeljarka) in order to adapt it to the existent training systems, culture, needs and requirements of targeted users, (iv) to test and evaluate the VET program (NPK Hmeljar/hmeljarka) and (v) to disseminate and exploit project results into other EU hop producing countries in order to ensure optimal use of the project results with addressing the results to sector stakeholders.
The project brings together a solid consortium of 6 complementary and experienced partners. The consortium consists of P0-Slovenian institute of hop research and brewing (SI) as an applicant organisation, P1-Etablissement Public Local d’Enseignement et de Formation Professionnelle Agricoles (F), P2-Hop Research institute Co. Ltd. (CZ), P3-International Hop Growers’ Convention (F), P4-School Centre Slovenske Konjice – Zreče (SI) and P5-MK projekt, d.o.o. (SI). All partners have an expertise for various tasks to generate added value with respect to LdV priorities. Within 6 WPs the project is oriented towards an optimal rate result/effort efficient use of human and financial resources.
The project develops co-operative tools and contents to reach the objectives. Target groups (project partners, SMEs in agribusiness and hop industry sector stakeholders) will benefit through project activities and results such as: hop industry VET program contents materials (handbook, DVD, hop industry benchmarking study,...), transfer of sector expertise and good practise, formation of a National Vocational Qualification (NPK Hmeljar/hmeljarka) and various dissemination and promotion events.

The KoM on 04-02-2011 resulted in the consortium agreement (R1) and Management and coordination plan (R2). Additional main results of the project are the following:
