Marketing Text INVOCO is an international project for agricultural students from all over Europe. In special courses combining theory and practical work a group of students is spending 3 weeks together learning on topics like goat farming, silage production, becoming an entrepreneur or feeding cows. An experienced team of tutors and teachers will lead the courses, which take part every year in spring.
Summary INVOCO is a project designed for students in vocational education combined with international experience. There will be at least 24 students sent to partner schools in 4 different countries in order to attend specific courses related to their competencies. Partners are Groenhorst College (NL) offering education in the field of crop production and farm mineral management, Graasten Landbrugskole (DK) holding courses connected with feeding high-yielding dairy cows or sows, Smiltenes Tehnikums (LV) specialising in goat dairy products, Colegiul Angelescu in Buzau (RO) offering a course in Agrotourism and Valle Videregaende Skole (NO) providing training for junior entrepreneurs starting a new business. Teachers and tutors of HLFS Ursprung will be supervising the ongoing learning process during the courses by visiting the different partner schools. The main interest of participants is improvement of their practical and theoretical vocational education. Furthermore, language skills (english) and experience of different international environments will be of great importance in future in the european labour market. The courses mentioned above will focus on modern methods in students´ education combined with close co-operation with regional authorities and companies, which creates a "real life" situation for the participants. Students will experience relations between subjects, compare ways of working in different countries and interact with coeval students from the host organisation. The mobilities will take place from spring 2011 to spring 2012 to the partner schools mentioned above. The courses will last for 3 weeks each.
