Marketing Text The analysis of the situation in partner countries revealed significant necessity of tourist companies to become more innovative in the knowledge regarding human resources management and development. It identified the lack of appropriate training programs of Knowledge and Talent Management as well as the lack of qualified trainers, who provide them. Several training programs of Knowledge and Talent Management have already been developed and tested in other European countries. Those vary in scope and methodological approach and they should be at first adapted to target groups and countries concerned.
Summary The main goal of the project was to adapt and deliver the program of Knowledge and Talent Management of Leonardo da Vinci subprogram of “TALISMAN” program to Slovakia, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Lithuania, Ireland and Greece. Project aims included analysis of the initial training program, its adaptation to the needs of participating countries and to the needs of target group, which are the managers of SMEs in tourism, and its evaluation, dissemination of information about the project and project results as well, and preparation for their further usage.
Description The project was executed by the consortium comprising 8 partners from 7 EU countries – Spiš Regional Development Agency (Slovakia) Eurocrea Merchant and Editoriale II Denaro (Italy), Fundacion de Maimona (Spain), Kaunas regional innovation center (Lithuania), X-Panel (Cyprus), Innovate (Ireland) a IDEC (Greece). They adapted it to the needs of target group. End recipients are tourist SMEs from participating countries. The authors of this project successfully cooperated together in the past. The consortium was based on high level and mutual trust. Good cooperation was achieved in the project and goals were fulfilled.

Product information The main project outcome is an on-line training program of Knowledge and Talent Management for tourist companies, available for Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Ireland and Lithuania. The existing materials had already been adjusted that were adapted to specific needs of individual national regions. Project also created other methods that are used for evaluation, such as valorization plan, project website, leaflets, plan for further usage of the results etc. that help promote the project and attract representatives of the target group to use project results. Processed evaluation served to improve the quality of outcomes and to support better usage of the project results.
