The curriculum The Performance Bridge [Getting on and off the Stage] is directed towards performers, i.e. dancers, actors and musicians. It addresses both the needs of young performing artists in transition from the school to the professional plattform and artists in transition from the stage to other related theatrical carreers.
Developing entrepreneur skills in the young artist and from the years of accumulated experience and knowledge in the mature artist, is the goal and objective of The Performance Bridge [Getting on and off the Stage].
The curriculum of The Performance Bridge [Getting on and off the Stage] is applicable to all performing groups as they share many of the same traits, capabilities and restrictions. The daily routine of any performing artist is work saturated and time limited. Our target groups require information packaged in such a way that their limited time possibilities can be used efficiently and productively.
The curriculum should provide an overview of the following skills:
* Stage Technical Skills: Lighting Design, Sound Design, Costume Design, Videoskills
* Management Skills & Administration Skills : Project Management, Administrative skills, PR & Marketing
* IT Skills: Basic Computer Skills and Internet Skills
Teaching methods are through e-learning and life seminars. During the pilot project of The Performance Bridge [Getting on and off the Stage] both groups will be working on a performance project in all its aspects as a means of assessing the success of the curriculum. Working towards a common goal will deepen and validify the theoretical knowledge.
Since 2009 the e-learning content of the curriculum The Performance Bridge is being developed in the framework of a Leondardo da Vinci "Tranfer of Innovation" project: "TpbLeap-Creative Futures" (Project Number LLP/LdV/TOI/2008/IRL-501). Project Promotor is the Performance Bridge partner Inchcore College of Further Education in Ireland. "TpbLeap-Creative Futures" aims to develop an interactive and exciting method of using the vast potential of the internet and ITC to make distance

The project result is a virtual world for learners wishing to acquire new skills
