Marketing Text ILCC is an European project promoted by AEDIPE in the frame of the European Program Leonardo da Vinci, who takes as a purpose the development of a model of intercultural competences and a guide of learning for the agents who participate in the processes of training and development of immigrants and ethnic minorities.
Summary The objective of the partnership is to develop a methodological guide to intercultural competences with innovative models. Organizations, VET Centres and companies all over Europe require specific training in intercultural competences, and the project aims at using the experience of countries such as Germany and UK or Spain in this field to create a learning guide that can be used in other countries.
Description The project is divided in two main phases. During phase I, partners have worked in the identification of good practices in different European countries and the analysis of the learning materiales already exsting, in order to design a gap analysis and an intercultural competences framework for the project. In a second phase, the partners have created, tested and refined a Learning Guide/Handbook related to this intercultural competences. The project results were presented in a specific meeting held in Madrid the last week of june 2011 (28-29), and also a "train the trainer" session presenting the way of using the guide in different contexts.

The project´s products are:
- a competence framework: partners have identified eight competences which are considered to be key competences when developing intercultural profiles.
- Handbook of the Learning Guide: methodological guide based on the competence framework, available in the different languages of the consortium: Spanish, English (specific release for the UK and a standart reliese), German, Slovenian and Bulgarian.
