Marketing Text COMINN will provide the middle managers of metal SME of the necessary tools to face the challenges of a new society, in which LLL, CONSTANT CHANGE and INNOVATION are basic premises both for personal and professional success.
Within the metal sector there is a new reality marked by the globalization of the economy. These changes have stimulated the organizational flexibility and the appearance of lineal structures in which the functional mobility and employability (flexibility) are basic. In this new scenario, metal workers have to develop a range of skills and competencies related to innovation.
These competences are usually acquired through informal processes. As a result, "which is not measured, is no value".Therefore, people need to capitalize and transfer to work situations these informal competences acquired during the socialization process. Therefore, organizations, and in particular metal SMEs, need materials and tools to help them meet the challenges of a new society: the constant change and innovation.
COMINN valorizes the results of TOOLS TRAINING project (113894-CP-1-2004-1-EN-Grundtvig-G1), which develops educational materials (tools, methods ....) to enhance, develop and mobilize flexible competencies acquired through informal learning. COMINN adapts and transfers these materials from the classroom (training field) to the enterprise (productive field) and specifically, to the metal sector.
Specifically, COMINN develops, adapts and validates a training itinerary and didactic materials transnationally, which allows to qualify the middle managers and responsible of metal SMEs for the valorisation, development and mobilization of competencies linked to the innovation development (key competences for the employability and competitiveness of the company) that workers have acquired through informal means (creativity, knowledge generation, openness to change.
