Marketing Text The handbook is a general guide for other health care colleges colleges/schools, students and employers who are interested in apprenticeship training. The handbook contains the aims, objectives, national legal requirements for health care workers, areas of professional activities and competences, curriculum, material and human recourses and final evaluation.
Description The handbook contains the aims, objectives, national legal requirements for health care workers, areas of professional activities and competences, curriculum, material and human recourses and final evaluation. The handbook was created according to the apprenticeship training approach.
Target group Schools offering health care education and the health care sector’s employers. The other target groups are people already working in the health care sector without a diploma, adults, people interested in retraining, unemployed people and people, who are in a threat to be unemployed.
Participants from 15 stakeholders in Lithuania, health care institutions, validated the handbook during the Lithuania State Seminar 16.09.2010 in Klaipeda. The results of the project will improve the quality and to increase the volume of co-operation between institutions or organizations providing learning opportunities, enterprises, social partners and other relevant bodies throughout Lithuania. The handbook was translated to Lithuanian as it is more suitable for Lithuanian target groups.
In Estonia, the handbook was compiled by the partners via intense cooperation and research.
The result is the finished handbook/guide material for schools/employers/possible students on apprenticeship training for care workers.
