Marketing Text The project has defined a model for continuous learning for teachers and trainers of the schools and vocational centers, centered on the use of online teaching course (OTC) and its training aids.
The training course is structured in 32 hours class teaching and in 8 distance learning.
The course has a particular space on the Moodle platform. Within the online course, is possible to download the teaching aids.
The training course is structured in 4 days of classrooms lessons and 8 hours of online activities.
The two first days are separated from the third, while the third is separated from the fourth day. This temporal organization has been tought in order to promote the learning of the contents and to give space to the development of online activities.
The days of lectures - divided into morning and afternoon - provide moments of lecture and practical exercise sessions. The half days are practically structured in two hours of theory and practice to ease learning and to proceed with the tests of the technological tools introduced and discussed during the course.
The course aimed at teachers and it has a specific space on the Moodle platform, within the online course where you can find the instructional material to support both training and studying.
The 8 online hours are structured in the following way:
• 4 online working hours between the first two days and the intermediate meeting
The teachers are asked in these 4 hours to carry out two activities:
-each teacher is requested to administer in class an informative questionnaire on how they use technologies in classe with students. The teachers has to agree so that the questionnaire is administered to different classes The file with the final answers of the questionnaire has to be uploaded onto the platform of the specific forum;
-each teacher is asked to select a didactic topic/theme that s/he uses in class to share on Moodle. The selected material has to be uploaded onto the platform in the specific forum;
• 4 online working hours between the intermediate and the final meeting:
- each teacher is asked to plan and elaborate the chosen didactic material by using .ppt according to the directions received by the trainer during the intermediate meeting. The elaborated material has to be uploaded on Moodle in the specific forum.
The objectives of the transfer proposal are aimed to:
-disseminate and exploit the contents and the methodologies employed in the original project of transfer;
-strengthen the skills in the use of new technologies through the teaching use offered by teachers and trainers.
The proposal of innovation transfer is based on the products and the results elaborated in the original project titled: “Creation and spreading of learning patterns for employees of Religious and Socio-Educational Institutions in the Center-North through the use of information and communication technologies”.
The process of transference of the innovative training content included its adaptation to the training systems, culture, linguistic and socio-cultural contexts, needs and requirements of targeted users (updating of the product).
At the end of the process of adaptation, the result is an online teaching course and its teaching aids, in three languages version (Italian, English and French), with elements of contextualization for each country involved in the project: Italy, France and United Kingdom.
Area of application The products of the project are used by trainers and teachers of secondary schools and vocational centers in order to improve their skills in the use of new technologies in class with the students.
