Title ENGLISH THE SAINT JAMES WAY: e-LEARNING OBJECTIVES AND EXERCISE TYPES
Product Type teaching material
Marketing Text Two documents that outline first of all the aims for each learning object, i.e. "Why do we want the student to do this?" and then, what types of activities can we program in order to achieve our aims.
These 2 documents are the basis for the focus of the e-learning course.
The first one reflects on and establishes what the learning objectives should be in terms of assimilating the possible language contents. They would be the response to the question "Why should the student do this activity?" The answer being "to understand the meaning, to remember the vocabulary, to assimilate the pronunciation, etc." This reflection is an improvement on the taxi Driver project.
The second document is then the list of activities that will enable the student to attain the objectives. Most of the activities are very similar to the ones used in the Taxi Driver project.
Target group Course planners, authors and computer programmers of e-learning materials for languages
Result This reflection on the objectives and exercise types has enabled us to design a language course that would be pedagogically sound and of value to the beneficiaries.
