Marketing Text This document provides an outline of the strategy to be followed, so as to ensure maximization of the project’s results and their impact, after its termination.
The document initially provides details regarding the project’s products that are eligible for exploitation after its termination, namely the COMPATeGov competence model, the COMPATeGov web portal, the training material as well as the e-Government Competences of the personnel from the public sector that were identified within the Work Package 1 of the project. Additionally, the methods that are exploitable are presented, such as the Competences Assessment Framework and the Knowledge Transfer Framework (KTF). The section concludes with a summary of the licensing of the project results.
The next sector elaborates on the operational, technological and financial sustainability of the project results. More specifically, details are given on mechanisms that ensure the constant update of the project results according to emerging needs and developments, the ability of the results’ technological infrastructure to continuously operate over time as well as the project’s ability to finance the results’ operational and technological objectives over time.
Section 4 of the Deliverable presents the target groups – potential buyers that all exploitation plans should focus on. Moreover, apart from a generic exploitation plan, individual representative examples of exploitation plans are transferred into the KTF and presented, as proposed by each project partner.
Section 5 presents the most exploitable project results and the potential of their adoption in sectors beyond eGovernment.
The Deliverable’s final chapter draws conclusions on the work done and the corresponding results and the Appendix lists additional exploitation plans of the project consortium.
The current Deliverable’s main outcome is the elaboration of a sustainability plan to describe the planning and activities in a way to enable the project’s result’s adoption in multiple sectors and as many European countries as possible. More specifically, Section 4 presents multiple strategies for the subsequent use of the project results, which ensure their future sustainability.
The work done within this deliverable shows that not only the sustainability but also the exploitation of the project’s outcomes is possible after its termination. The multiple exploitation plans provided by all project partners make for good practice guides that should be followed when one of the outcomes is to be exploited in specific sectors, by specific stakeholders and via specific mediums, methodologies and tools.
The next steps include the realization of the aforementioned exploitation plans after the project’s termination for the maximization of their impact.
Area of application Other projects could use this Deliverable as a guide for the exploitation of the project’s results to other sectors as well as to other European countries.
