Dans le cadre du projet IBB2, un projet innovateur qui emploie des mentores pour l'intégration au travail sera développé.
Des mentores soutiennent les diplômées (de la formation professionnelle intégrée) dans l'intégration dans la vie de travail.
L’idée du projet comprend l'intégration des personnes avec des handicaps mais aussi de leurs employeurs et collègues.
Le travail d'équipes intégrées signifie la réalisation de la diversité et des nouveaux développements dans le contexte social de l'entreprise de services.
Development and implementation of a supporting concept with focus on diversity management and mentoring for people with learning disabilities. The supporting concept's aim was to make a successful and sustainable integration of people with disabilities into non traditional working fields, such as the social field/ disability care sector, possible.
People with disabilities are like other employees; they want to have a vocational training of high quality, they want to do a job they like, manage challenges in their job and want to get ahead.
But if people with disabilities follow new path in vocational trainings and if they afterward want to follow new path in the employment, they and their potential employers and future work teams need a special support programme. People with disabilities working in the social and health sector or working as peers in the disability care has no tradition in Europe.
For that reason existing mentoring models for people with disabilities were adopted and modified for non traditional working fields. In the frame of IBB2 a mentoring model including a mentor curriculum was adapted in order to enhance the inclusive vocational training in the social sector. The mentoring model support people with disabilities and employers in the process that lies after the vocational training. The project aimed to instruct and intensify knowledge, concerning disability employment in the social sector. On one hand, to ease the process after vocational training and to make non traditional jobs accessible to people with disabilities, on the other hand, to avoid hindering work places and to bring staff members and people with disabilities together.
The adaption of the transferred mentoring model based on groundwork by group of experts, needs assessment, on experiences from the former IBB and VOCA2 project and on work of experts. The adapted diversity/mentoring model is published in the IBB2 Compilation which contains furthermore background information about two selected Leonardo da Vinci projects, a guideline for a successful on the job educational process, and a criteria catalogue for successful inclusive management in vocational training and in the workplace. The mentor curriculum and the new skills of mentors were tested (in AT, DE, ES, PL) and evaluated by an external evaluator. The IBB2 Compilation as well as the test results and the project experiences werde disseminated and exploited during a seminar on European level.
Seven partners from five countries were part of the consortium – Austria, Belgium, Germany, Poland, and Spain. All the partners contributed to the process of the project and the development of the products. The consortium has high expertise in support if people with disabilities, integration of people with disabilities in the open labour market, inclusive vocational training, research, and dissemination.
Description The main intention during the 2-years-run time of the project was the development of a supporting concept for the work entry of people with learning disabilities. The focus was on diversity management and mentoring. Part of it, was the transformation of a mentoring model from Denmark (VOCA2 and itself the product of a LdV-project) to the involved partner countries. Based upon this model and the results of the experts groups as well as from the former conclusions from the IBB project,a train-the-trainer Diversity/mentor training course was developed.
