Product Type procedure for the analysis and prognosis of the vocational training requirement
Marketing Text Results of a Survey on a sample of 150 people to identify the most important training needs of the automotive sector, on which being able to develop training courses of the E-LASTIC project. The instrument used for the survey was a questionnaire conceived to detect the priority training needs expressed by the automotive companies involved, to establish the curriculum of the E-LASTIC platform courses.
In the framework of the activity programme envisaged by E-LASTIC Project, a survey on training needs of the European automotive business was realized between February and May 2010, using a sample of 150 individuals distributed as follows:
•110 Italian engaged by ANFIA and ANFIA Service and selected among ANFIA Associate members, ANFIA Service database of contacts and the major stakeholders of the Italian automotive business (trade associations, institutional referents)
•20 French, mainly employees of Magneti Marelli France
•20 German, mainly employees of Automotive Lighting Germany
Target group employees, managers and stakeholders from Italian, French and German automotive sector
In the light of the results of the survey, the partnership decided to develop the following needs, as complete training courses:
- Planning & Control: Company Audit
- Problem Solving
- Training for Commercial Networks and Distributors
- Safety Management System
In addition to this courses, a Content Management System course was developed, as requested by the Leonardo da Vinci project’s rules. This courseware is aimed at supplying all users to autonomously implement the on-line platform.
Partnership decided to add also many informatives contents, as decribed in the Platform product
Area of application
The survey was conceived to detect the priority training needs expressed by the automotive companies involved, to establish the curriculum of the E-LASTIC platform courses.
In the cover letter sent to the selected sample was underlined the possibility of giving through the questionnaire a direct and pro-active contribution to the identification of the priority training needs and of the contents to be downloaded onto the E-LASTIC technological platform.
So the final purpose of the survey was to share the development of the E-LASTIC content tree with the future beneficiaires of the online courses.
This sharing-based method was chosen to effectively meet the diverse needs of the automotive business, in a fast-changing market and in the context of a severe economic recession.
