Marketing Text "ACCREDITAMENTO" Model: a good, innovative and efficient Pubblic Institution model to manage homecare services made by Municipality of Parma.
Summary To transfer to an European level Parma's good practices on home care services. This was the aim of the project that intended to improve itself through the comparison with the activities carried out by the social sectors of the partners countries involved in the project.
In order to manage the complex system of the home care assistant social services and to guarantee high quality standards, the Municipality of Parma has implemented in the recent past a certification process called "Accreditamento system". This proved a good practices so the aim of the project was to transfer it to an European leves, in special sharing and discussing among the partners the experiences acquired by local authorities in offering innovative and qualified homecare services especially directed to the elderly and disabled people. This services are provided in Italy mainly by immigrant women, often temporary employed in home assistance.
At the end of kick off meeting carried out to know each one, to present a brief, objectives and activities organization and to manage the necessary and preparatory acts like agreements, Workpackages, Quality management plan, the partnership of the project decided to analyse own particular context and product a National Research, then have a meeting to share and discuss ech research in order to proceed with the Coparation one.
On the base of this produced document, which explaned some important differents among European territories, the partnership elicted to devote particolar work on processing a training model based on Parma "Accreditation" one.
Before starting the new phase, National workshops was organized to disseminate the first project results.
In order to proceed with the second phase, first of all the partnership produced and shared the Guidelines for promoting innovative aspects of the good practice of "work accreditation" for at home care services. Then the partnership created a Training model drafts.
The item of the model is interesting for a several types of people (services givers, pubblic administrations, trainers, families...). So the partnership decided to organize local meeting with stakeholders, in order to present and discuss the training model draft and receive some important contributions to improve it. The results of these meeting were National reports about "The methodology of testing and validation of the training model, in light of its integration in the accreditation system of home-care work”.
The partnership met in Hungary to compare the reports and finalize the training model that was shown with all other products and project process, in the Final book delivered during the Final Conference dissemination.
