Marketing Text Students (trainees) of the vocational college of occupational therapy Guenzburg experience the status of their future profession in various institutions of different health systems in Europe.
Within three different flows, three students of the vocational college of occupational therapy Guenzburg were enabled to absolve a three- week practical placement in various medical institutions in Copenhagen (Danmark), Bruneck (South Tyrol, Italy) and Cardiff (Wales, UK). They were offered the opportunity to experience occupational therapy in a different health-political context as it is set in Germany, under the supervision and instruction of skilled occupational therapists. In this context, next to the increase of their professional competences, the students were given the chance to deepen their knowledge of professional English.
Pan-European, occupational therapy establishes itself as a profession that undergoes dynamic changes. The participation in the Leonardo da Vinci project contributes a higher competitive ability for the students and may help to ease an optionally vocational access to the foreign job market.
