Marketing Text EPICEA veut faire connaître et accepter le concept d'e-portfolio par les différents acteurs de l'insertion professionnelle : entreprises, jeunes en recherche d'emploi ou en emploi, formateurs, tuteurs, conseillers.
EPICEA aims at developing the application of the e-portfolio concept in combination with tools and resources for its implementation by young adult workers, searching for professional integration or in alternate training or apprenticeship.
A portfolio gathers and shows proofs and examples of activities. It allows to identify and to valorise skills and competences developed at work but also in the social and personal life. It is the digital equivalent of artists’ books, enlarged to all kind of jobs and to all individuals. It is usually disseminated through internet.
EPICEA promotes the concept and facilitates its social acceptance by sensitizing companies and decision makers in the field of training and work integration. Trainers and tutors are trained.
Open resource centres are implemented in France, Spain and in Hungary.
EPICEA develops the concept of e-portfolio and their implementation considered as a way to develop skills in the information society whether they are acquired in formal and non formal learning contexts (leisure, community, family). It aims at facilitating the alternance between the several periods of life (training, at work, out of work).
EPICEA is deployed in France, in Hungary (with a focus on alternate training management) and in Spain, mainly for the benefits of social and vocational integration in the red of tele-centres in Extremadura.
To reach these objectives, EPICEA implements:
- sensitisation of the environment (organisation of conferences and local events close to the main information needs);
- training of intermediaries (tutors, trainers…) ;
- examples able to act as models;
- e-portfolios with end-users;
- online resource centres to facilitate the exchange of tools and methods and benefits from the experience of the community of users.

3 resources centres in 3 languages are created and maintained in France, Spain and Hungary. The are :
They contain training and communication material to be used by intermediaries (orientation and training organisations) and by end users. Training modules are elaborated in Spanish and Hungarian. They are tested and implemented with tele-centres workers, tutors and trainers from vocational institutions active in alternate training. Resources and methods are reusable and transferable. Continuous and complementary dissemination and communication actions are implemented as close to the needs as possible in order to allow a progressive development of the concept and its integration by several levels of decision both in Extremadura and Hungary.
