Marketing Text Testing ECVET in the Grande Région
Summary The VaLOGReg project is one of 10 pilot projects created in 2008 and co-financed by the European Commission. Each one of these projects was created to test the specifications of ECVET
The goal of the project was to determine how the specifications of ECVET create conditions of mutual trust among the partners and institutions working in different learning contexts.
By using an approach based on two qualifications (car mechanics and energy electronics), experts compared the curricula and managed to identify identical learning outcomes which could be achieved during the mobility phase.
On basis of the results the partners will develop a general model of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
To test the viability of this agreement the whole issue will be tested on 2 levels.
On one side the competent institutions will
elaborate a learning agreement. This agreement will comprise the particular elements of the mobility period: duration, the expected learning outcomes and their evaluation in the host environment and the recognition at home
On the other side the viability will be tested by a real mobility.
If this phase is positive after evaluation the partners will suggest a final model of an MoU, including a recommendation for a learning agreement and a user’s guide for future mobilities
