Title Aquanet: Expert training for Proffessions and Key sectors in Efficiente Water Management
Project Number ES/07/LLP-LdV/TOI/149053
Project Type Innovationstransfer
AQUANET, a Leonardo da Vinci project for the transfer of innovation, intends to transfer an international reference model for an efficient use of water, already validated by the European LIFE Programme(www.life-optimizagua.org)and a virtual platform also validated within the Leonardo da Vinci Programme (http://leonardo.svalero.es)The subjects tackled by these two projects, have evidenced the need of a specific training on devices, technologies and methodologies that promote an efficient use of water, which constitutes the main aims of this project:
•Elaboration of a didactic handbook for the adaptation of the workers of key professions and fields, to the new technologies related to water management
•To offer a didactic guide on the efficient use of water, to the educational representatives and vocational training centres
•To foster the implementation of technologies, methodologies and good practices to promote the efficient use of water, through continuing training activities
The project tackles certain needs of continuous training for professions and key sectors related to the effective water management. This training is based on transfer of innovation, already validated by two pilot projects of international reference developed one of them in the framework of the LIFE Programme (www.life-optimizagua.org)and the other one under the Leonardo da Vinci framework and whose results are the bases pedagogical and didactic to be transferred by this project proposal ("multimedia training for workers" virtual platform, http://leonardo.svalero.es).
The project try to offer a didactic material and support tools for the cross-training in water and environment matter aimed at professional training centres, as well as, to reinforce the institutional presence of the project in the International Exhibition, EXPO ZARAGOZA 2008 under the thematic axis "water and sustainable development" to promote through its events of international scope and renowned mass-media, a great disseminating impact and the large-scale valorisation of the project results.
The association is multi-agent, with key organisms representing the suitable professional profiles of destination (agricultural, public local entities, local development organisms, professional training centres in agricultural matter and environment, agrarian associations). It is reinforced by the local co-financing of the Zaragoza Town Council. Finally, the association is geographically balanced and responds a double strategy: presence of countries of different EU geographical areas (South and North Europe), and, the need of a better management of the hydric resource in those zones where there is the highest water consumption and the highest water scarcity (South Europe), combined with the participating of two countries recently adhered to the EU and in which it is advisable to introduce innovation linked to quality water.
-Manual in 6 languages for the professional training in effective water management for agriculture and local entities.
-Didactic guide in six languages aimed at the European Educative Community as cross-training of models, good practices and workshops promoting the effective water use.
-Virtual platform for e-learning training that will integrate the contents and the training offer elaborated.
-Creation of a cellule of international prospective with more than 200 entities for the permanent data updating to the technical evolution.
-Specific dissemination products in different languages (brochures, video, web...)
AQUANET, is transfer of innovation project frameworked in the Leonardo da Vinci Programme in the Lifelong Learning ambit.
This Project intends to transfer an international reference model for the efficient use of water already validated in the framework of the European LIFE programme, and a virtual platform used as training tool and methodology which was also validated at international level within the Leonardo da Vinci Programme: OPTIMIZAGUA PROJECT and Pilot project, MULTIMEDIA TRAINING SYSTEM FOR WORKERS
Nowadays, the thematic subject tackled by both projects are fully current and the need of offering a specific training in devices, technologies and methodologies promoting an “efficient water use and management “ have been evidenced, which constitutes the main topic of this project
•Workers of local entities and enterprises working on the maintenance of public green areas and who are responsible for irrigation tasks for parks and gardens.
•Sectoral Organizations representing the agriculture sector and its workers, starting for the traditional characteristics of the very same sector.
•Architecture bureaus and engineering entities responsible for the design of green areas, irrigation systems, urban planning and landscape studies in order to promote technical solutions aimed to the efficient water management.
•Educational community and vocational training centres, through a specific didactic guide to promote the cross-learning on systems, technologies and good practices for the efficient use of water.
•Countries and regions participants in the International Exhibition Expo-Zaragoza 2008 and specific accredited MASS MEDIA for such event.
•Public in general for dissemination purposes and sensibilization.
•The project aims at tackling certain needs of continuous training for professional profiles and key sectors for efficient water management.
•Elaboration of a didactic handbook for the adaptation of the workers to the new “efficient water management-related technologies” for the above mentioned professions and key sectors.
•To offer the educational community and vocational training centres a didactic guide on systems, models and good practises for the efficient use of water, in order to foster an e-learning cross-training and its multiplier effect.
•To provide the target public with an e-learning training platform based on the contents developed.
•To elaborate specific dissemination and valorisation products: leaflets, web, video-spots, final publication and institutional presence in the Expo Zaragoza 2008.
•Institutional presence of the Project in the International Exhibition “Expo Zaragoza 2008”, under the thematic axis “water and sustainable development.
