Marketing Text DELPHI intends to design and implement an innovative, web-based interactive training platform in the field of logistics. The innovative character of DELPHI lies in the non-traditional technology chosen as the main tool to deliver the learning contents: videos, which allow immediate transfer of information.
The DELPHI Project was designed in order to improve the quality of distance learning in the field of Logistics.
To do so, a Learning Video Content Management System (LVCMS) was designed and inserted into a platform having social networking functions. The name of the DELPHI Platform is LogisticsTube.
Achieving the development of the users’ knowledge and skills in Logistics through the matching of social networking and video contents is the main objective as well as the main innovation in the LogisticsTube platform (which is the main product of the DELPHI Project) together with the development of an active real-time participation of the learners into the learning processes and programmes (wiki function) by means of the creation, upload and sharing of self-produced learning contents preferentially delivered by means of videos.
Description The project is run by a consortium whose promoter and coordinator is an Italian service centre for SME’s, willing to develop new tools to support the growth and development of businesses through lifelong learning and tailored training. The project partners are organizations from Italy, France and Poland specialized in the field of logistics (design and provision of logistic services and training to businesses, professionals and logistics students) and an English university in charge of evaluation.
